  • Tuesday, February 2, at 7:30 p.m.: meeting of the Friends of Hemlock Gorge at the Emerson School, Pettee Street, Newton Upper Falls.
  • Wednesday, February 10, at 6:43 p.m.: Meeting of the Temple Emanuel Networking Group.
    Judith Levenfeld speaks on "How to Write a compelling Cover Letter - the Employer's Introduction to You and Your Writing."
    Temple Emanuel is at 385 Ward Street, Newton. The building is handicap accessible and there is on-street parking. Free and open to the public.
  • Sunday, February 21: Town Hall Meetings with Mayor Setti Warren.
    Mayor Setti Warren will be hosting a series of Town Hall Meetings across the city to discuss the city budget. Each meeting will include a brief presentation followed by a discussion between the Mayor and Residents. All meetings are free and open to the public. Please contact the Mayor's Office at 617-796-1100 with any questions.
    • at 2:00 p.m., at the Hyde Center, 90 Lincoln St.
    • at 4:00 p.m., at the Lower Falls Community Center, 545 Grove Street
