  • Saturday, April 5, at 7:30 p.m.: Classics Concert performed by the New Philharmonia Orchestra at the First Baptist Church of Newton in Newton Centre. Details at the New Philharmonia Orchestra website.
  • Wednesday, April 9, at 7:00 p.m.: Meeting of the Temple Emanuel Networking Group. This month's speaker is Barbara Bix: "So you are starting a biz: How to get clients."
    Temple Emanuel is at 385 Ward Street, Newton. The building is handicap accessible and there is on-street parking. Free and open to the public.
  • Saturday, April 26, 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon: The 2008 Annual Spring Cleanup of Hemlock Gorge, sponsored by the Friends of Hemlock Gorge. More details at their web site
